Greg Thomes is the third generation owner of the THOMES INSURANCE GROUP. He has followed his father Ray and Great Uncle John as owners of the agency. He is licensed in commercial, personal, life and health insurance in Minnesota and Wisconsin . He also has excellent knowledge in contract and surety bonds. Greg was born and raised in the Buffalo area. He currently resides in Maple Lake with his wife, Betty. His activities include working with numerous boards and organizations, enjoying the outdoors and flying.

Sherry has been a licensed insurance agent since 1975. She is fully licensed and works with all insurance products. Sherry obtained her CIC designation in 1990. She works from our Kimball office. Sherry and her husband Jim live in the South Haven area and have two grown boys. She enjoys camping and spending time with their grandchildren.

Lana has been a licensed agent in the Buffalo area for over twenty years. She is licensed in all lines of insurance including life and health and works in both the personal and commercial lines. Lana holds a Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager designation. Lana is active in various community activities and lives with her husband and sons in the rural Montrose area.

Ann is the personal lines specialist at our Buffalo location. She began her insurance career in the Twin Cities in 1982 and joined Thomes Insurance Group in 2003.  Ann received her CISR designation in 1995. Ann is licensed in all lines of insurance. Ann will be able to find the right personal lines package to fit your individual needs. Ann and her husband reside in Albertville with their two daughters.

Dawn has been licensed in property/casualty and life/health insurance since 2005. Dawn specializes in auto insurance, including motorcycles and snowmobiles. Dawn has three children who keep her busy with swimming, diving, basketball and karate.

Tedd Elliott is a fully licensed agent and producer who works from our Buffalo office. Tedd writes all lines of insurance, from personal auto insurance, to homes, to restaurants and contractors.  Tedd has a strong background in the construction field. He was employed as a foreman with a local underground utility company for several years. Tedd was born and raised in Buffalo . He served in the Navy for four years and spent time on the eastern seaboard before moving back home in 1999.

Cathy Gohman has been a licensed insurance agent since 2001. She is also a Notary Public. Cathy works in our Buffalo offices as a CSR and provides agency support. Cathy and her husband reside in French Lake Township with the youngest of their three children. They enjoy growing berries and Twins baseball.

Diana Lange has been in the insurance business for over 25 years. Diane joined the Thomes Insurance Agency in 2005 and she works from the Kimball office. Diana, and her husband own a cattle ranch and farm near Kimball. She holds her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation.

Katie is licensed in all lines of insurance including securities and investments. She specializes in life and annuity insurance. Katie grew up on a farm in rural Maple Lake and presently lives on a crop farm, with her husband Kevin. So, she has a keen understanding of ag-related insurances. Besides farming, Katie remains busy with her two children. She looks forward to sitting down with you and discussing your insurance needs.

Shar is one the first faces you will see when you walk through the doors in our Buffalo office. Shar has been with the Thomes Insurance Agency since 1998. Shar has her life and health licenses. She is very active in her home community of Maple Lake .
